Terms of Service
Last updated 26 June 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Si Novi Limited ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of instantCVE (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organisation.
2. The Service
instantCVE is a vulnerability-alerting service. You tell us the products, vendors and keywords relevant to your environment, and we notify you of published security advisories (CVEs) that appear to match, by email or webhook.
The Service relies on third-party and public data sources, including the official CVE feed. We do not control, author or guarantee that data.
3. Accounts, eligibility and business use
The Service is intended for business and professional use only. By using the Service, you confirm that you are using it in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession, and not as a consumer. The Service is not directed at, or intended for, individuals acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of access to your account, including your sign-in email and any webhook endpoints you configure.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: (a) use the Service in violation of any applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems or networks; (c) probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure; (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (e) resell, redistribute or make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted; or (f) use automated means to access the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load.
5. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that alerts will be complete, accurate or delivered. The Service may fail to identify a relevant vulnerability, may surface vulnerabilities that do not apply to you, and may be delayed or unavailable. The Service is an aid to, and not a substitute for, your own security programme. You remain solely responsible for assessing and addressing the security of your own systems, and for any decisions you make based on the Service.
6. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided to you free of charge. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SI NOVI LIMITED AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU OF ANY KIND, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY MISSED, INACCURATE OR DELAYED ALERT, AND ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS. YOU USE THE SERVICE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Si Novi Limited and its directors, employees and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party or any applicable law.
8. Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. On termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including sections 5, 6, 7 and 11.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service.
